I was delighted to represent the TAFE NSW Western Regional Advisory Council at this week’s excellence awards. A truly remarkable group of students from right across Western NSW received their awards this week at a lovely function in Dubbo.
The winners are:

Trainee of the Year – Claire Bignell (Parkes);
Career Pathways, Aboriginal Languages and Employability Skills Student of the Year – Kirsten Fitzpatrick (Bathurst);
Health, Wellbeing and Community Services Student of the Year – Jeremy Kenny (Lithgow);
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student of the Year – Holly Bartram (Armidale);
Innovative Manufacturing, Robotics and Science Student of the Year – Clinton Larkings (Orange);
Infrastructure, Energy and Construction Student of the Year – Mark Woodhead (Dubbo);
Technology and Business Student of the Year – Holly Bartram (Armidale);
Tourism and Experience Services Student of the Year – Lucy Schillert (Gunnedah);
VET in Schools Student of the Year – Kirsten Fitzpatrick (Bathurst);
SBATS Student of the Year – Lachlan Carpenter (Orange).
